LL Cool J joins Latifah in "Last Holiday" remake

The Hollywood Reporter reports that LL Cool J will join Queen Latifah in a comedy remake of "Last Holiday" for director Wayne Wang ("Maid in Manhattan").

The original 1950 film had Alec Guiness playing a terminally ill clerk who decides to take one last holiday, but to his surprise is mistaken for an aristocrat. The updated version will have Latifah playing the clerk, who decides to travel to Europe for one last vacation. LL Cool J will play the man who falls in love with her while there.
