Usher lines up movie role

Variety reports that R&B/hip-hop star will star in "Dying for Dolly," a new film will be directed by Ron Underwood ("City Slickers"). Emmanuelle Chriqui and Chazz Palminteri round out the cast.

The movie tells the story of a loyal aide (Usher) to a Mafia don (Palminteri), who is assigned to protect the don's daughter (Chriqui). However, the don is unaware that his daughter and employee share a mutual crush.

Usher's other movie credits include "She's All That" and "The Faculty".
