Julianne Moore is "Next" with Nicolas Cage

Variety reports that Julianne Moore will join Nicolas Cage in "Next," a sci-fi thriller to be financed and distributed by Sony's Revolution Studios. Lee Tamahori ("Die Another Day") will direct the sci-fi thriller, with Gary Goldman penning the screenplay.

According to the trade, Moore would play "a federal agent who's looking for people who can help predict terrorist acts. Her search puts her in pursuit of a man (Cage) who has the ability to see his own future and take a different path if he chooses."
