Marlon Brando is Jor-El in "Superman"?

While it has not been confirmed by Warner Bros. yet, all signs are pointing to Marlon Brando playing Jor-El in "Superman." Sound crazy? Didn't Brando pass away in July of 2004? Latino Review (http://www.latinoreview.com) is reporting that Bryan Singer plans on using footage Brando shot for "Superman II" that was cut from the film, and remastering it for the tentatively titled "Superman Returns." Most likely, footage that Brando shot with Christopher Reeve will be replaced by the new Superman actor, Brandon Routh. This is expected to work given that Jor-El has a minor role in this picture. The footage is question was cut from "Superman II" due to disputes over sequel profits and the same scene was later reshot with Superman's mother instead. This is all heavy conjecture right now but if they're able to pull it off, man oh man, wouldn't that be something... "Superman Returns" is currently shooting in Australia for a summer 2006 release.
