Haylie & Hilary Duff are "Material Girls"

Variety reports that sisters Hilary Duff and Haylie Duff will star in their first film together in a comedy titled "Material Girls." Martha Coolidge will be directing the picture which will follow a pair of rich sisters who find that their inherited fortune becomes lost in a corporate scandal. The launch an investigation in order to pinpoint the culprit.

Maverick Films and Patriot Pictures will produce the project. Production begins in Los Angeles April 18.

Hilary will rerecord Madonna's "Material Girl" for the soundtrack.
