Jodie Foster joins Spike Lee's "Inside Man"

Variety reports that Jodie Foster will join Denzel Washington and Clive Owen in "Inside Man" for director Spike Lee. The project is being setup at Imagine Entertainment, with Brian Grazer producing for Universal Pictures. Russell Gewirtz is penning the screenplay.

The film will tell the story of a thief trying to pull the perfect crime. He finds himself, however, matching wits with a cop in the middle of a hostage situation.

Foster will play a lawyer who adds to the already tense situation.
