David Duchovny has "The Secret"

The Hollywood Reporter reports that David Duchovny will star in the supernatural drama, "The Secret," Swiss-born actor-filmmaker Vincent Perez is signed on to make his English-language directorial debut on. Luc Besson will be executive producing the project. Ann Cherkis penned the screenplay.

Based on the 1999 Japanese film "Himitsu," the movie tells the story of a 16-year-old girl, her mother and her father. After the mother is killed in an accident, her spirit inhabits the daughter's body.

Lili Taylor and newcomer Olivia Thirlb have also been cast in the film already.
