Meryl Streep joins "The Devil Wears Prada"

The Hollywood Reporter reports that Meryl Streep will join Fox's "The Devil Wears Prada," which is based on the bestselling novel by Lauren Weisberger. David Frankel will be directing from a script by Aline Brosh McKenna ("Laws of Attraction").

The film will tell the story of a young woman who moves to New York to work for an all-powerful magazine editor named Miranda Priestly (Streep). Weisberger herself served as an assitant to Vogue editor Anna Wintour.
