Helen Hunt to write, star and direct "Then She Found Me"

Variety reports that Helen Hunt will be making her directorial debut in "Then She Found Me," a project to which she will also star in. Diane Keaton and Woody Harrelson are in negotiations to join her. Based on a novel by Elinor Lipman, the story a Philadelphia schoolteacher who hits a midlife crisis after everything in her life seems to go wrong. Her husband leaves her, her adoptive mother passes away, and her maternal mother turns up as an eccentric talk show host. Hunt has been working on the screenplay for seven or eight years.
