Following the events of 9/11, Arnold Schwarzenegger and director James Cameron stated that all plans to do "True Lies 2" had been scrapped due to possible insensitivity claims of an action-comedy about terrorism. Variety, however, is suggesting that they may be ready to move on. The trade reports that James Cameron is hoping to get the original cast back, with Arnold Schwarzenegger making it his first film when finishing his governor duties in California.
