Chris Rock in charge of "The Gilmores of Beverly Hills"

Variety reports that Chris Rock will write, produce, and star in "The Gilmores of Beverly Hills" for Adam Sandler's Happy Madison Productions and Paramount Pictures.

Rock will write the feature with writing partner Ali LeRoi ("Head of State," "Down to Earth") and will play a limo driver in the film. Production is set to begin this fall.
