Robert De Niro & Meryl Streep in "First Man"

Variety reports that Robert De Niro and Meryl Streep will reteam for "First Man" for Walt Disney Pictures. Diane English penned the screenplay and will make her directorial debut. Disney is aiming to begin production in 2006.

The film tells the story of a business mogul who puts his career on hold to help run the presidential campaign for his wife. When she wins the presidency, he is suddenly faced with a role reversal.
