Keri Russell cast in "Mission: Impossible 3"

Variety reports that former "Felicity" star Keri Russell will join the cast of "Mission: Impossible 3," taking on a role that originally went to Scarlett Johansson.

Russell will play an agent in training under Ethan Hunt, a role to be reprised by Tom Cruise.

Michelle Monaghan, Ving Rhames, and Phillip Seymour Hoffman round out the cast of the second MI sequel. Shooting begins July 18th in Italy.
