Katie Holmes dropped from "Batman 2"?

If what everyone saying is true about Harvey Dent appearing in the "Batman Begins" sequel, then this shouldn't be much of a surprise.

PageSix.com (http://www.pagesix.com) is reporting that Katie Holmes' character will not be appearing in the "Batman Begins" sequel.

Her character, who is a District Attorney, could very well be cut to make room for Harvey Dent, who will eventually become the villain Two-Face.

Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, and Morgan Freeman are all committed for a second Batman film.
