Jennifer Garner wants to "Be With You"

Variety reports that Warner Bros. has acquired the rights to remake the Japanese film "Be With You," with Jennifer Garner taking on the leading role.

The original film was based on a novel by Takuji Ichikawa and tells the story of a young, dying woman who tells her husband and son on her deathbed that she will, one day, return to them. A year after her death, the man and boy happen upon a woman that bears a very similar resemblance to the deceased woman.

Garner will also be producing the film along with Dan Jinks and Bruce Cohen.
