Rosario Dawson joins "Killshot" & "Clerks 2"

Variety reports that Rosario Dawson will join "Killshot" & "The Passion of the Clerks" for the newly formed Weinstein Co., the Weinstein new company after leaving Miramax.

Johnny Knoxville and Joseph Gordon-Levitt are also in negotiations to join Diane Lane, Mickey Rourke and Thomas Jane in the adaptation of the Elmore Leonard novel.

It is unknown what role Dawson will play in "The Passion of the Clerks," which is Kevin Smith's sequel to his immensely popular "Clerks" film. The movie features characters from the original but will place them at their jobs 10 years into the future.
