Jim Carrey & Joel Schumacher call "The Number 23"

Variety reports that Jim Carrey and director Joel Schumacher will reunite on "The Number 23," their first collaboration since 1997's "Batman Forever."

Schumacher will direct Carrey in the thriller about a man who becomes obsessive over a novel when it appears to tell his life story but ends with his own murder. The number 23 also plays a big part in his life.

Fernley Phillips drafted the screenplay. Shooting is expected to begin in November.
