Mike Myers to rock as Keith Moon

Variety reports that Mike Myers will star as Keith Moon, drummer of The Who, in an untitled feature being developed by Spitfire Pictures. Roger Daltrey, Nigel Sinclair and Bill Gerber are producing the project. A director should be chosen soon.

The movie follows Keith Moon and The Who as they forged a rebellious image. Moon was well known for destroying drum sets on stage and was equally wild off-stage. The hard living led to Moon's death in 1978.
