Variety reports that Morgan Creek is wrapping up talks to finance "Man of the Year." The comedy will team up Robin Williams with director Barry Levinson. Levinson wrote the script and will begin production in the late fall. The film follows a Jon Stewart-like host of a latenight political talk show who runs for president just to make some noise. However, the talk show host ends up winning the election. Williams and Levinson are no strangers, having teamed up in "Good Morning, America" and "Toys." The film will shoot in Toronto with exteriors in Maryland and D.C. Universal Pictures is expected to distribute the film domestically.
