Ben Stiller spends "A Night at the Museum"

Variety reports that Ben Stiller will star in the fantasy comedy "A Night at the Museum" for 20th Century Fox. The family film is scheduled for release during the holiday season of 2006. Shawn Levy ("Cheaper by the Dozen") is directing off a script by Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant, with rewrites by Scott Frank.

Stiller will play a night security guard at the Museum of Natural History who mistakenly unleashes a curse that brings back to life various bugs and animals from the dead for one night.
