Amber Tamblyn in "Spiral"

The Hollywood Reporter reports that former "Joan of Arcadia" star Amber Tamblyn will be joining "Spiral," an independent psychological thriller. Joel David Moore will co-star, co-direct, and co-write the project.

The movie will tell of a telemarketer (Moore) who finds his life changed by a new co-worker (Tamblyn). As he begins to sketch his new friend's portrait however, disturbing feelings from his past "threaten to lead him down a path of destruction."
