Jamie Foxx finds "Blood on the Leaves"

Variety reports that Jamie Foxx will join the adaptation of Jeff Stetson's novel "Blood on the Leaves," which is being developed at Paramount Pictures. Foxx will also produce through his production label.

Stetson will adapt his book for the big screen, which centers on a district attorney (Foxx) who struggles with feelings of revenge as he prosecutes a black history professor on trial for the murders of white men accused of crimes against blacks during the civil rights movement.
