Anna Faris has "Smiley Face"

The Hollywood Reporter reports that Cinema Confidential favorite Anna Faris is starring in "Smiley Face," a stoner comedy being directed by Gregg Araki.

Written by first-timer Dylan Haggerty, the movie centers on a young actress and hopeless slacker (Faris) who accidentally ingests her roommate's pot-laced brownies and tries to manage her day as it goes awry through a series of misadventures.

She joins John Krasinski ("The Office"), John Cho ("Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle") and Jane Lynch ("The 40-Year-Old Virgin"), all of whom are already attached to the movie.
