Josh Hartnett and Sam Jackson are "Resurrecting the Champ"

Variety reports that Josh Hartnett and Samuel L. Jackson are in talks to star in "Resurrecting the Champ."

The movie will tell of a reporter (Hartnett) who finds a homeless man (Jackson) and believes that he is a former boxing champ of whom he admired. As time goes on, he learns to true identity of the man but still nonetheless forms a bond with him.

Shooting begins in Calgary this summer.
