Lucy Liu is one of the "Beautiful Asian Brides"

Variety reports that Universal Pictures is developing "Beautiful Asian Brides" for Lucy Liu to star in.  Steven Gary Banks and Claudia Grazioso ("Are We There Yet?") are penning the screenplay. Brian Grazer will also produce for Imagine Entertainment.

The comedy concerns a man wrongly accused of murder who goes undercover as a mail-order bride in an attempt to prove his innocence.

Liu will also be producing the movie. Les Firestein and P.J. Pesce came up with the original concept.
