John Turturro to join Jack Black, Nicole Kidman dramedy

The Hollywood Reporter reports that John Turturro has signed on to star in the untitled Noah Baumbach project at Paramount Pictures' new specialty division.

Jack Black, Nicole Kidman and Jennifer Jason Leigh already have boarded the dramedy.

Turturro will play the husband of Kidman's character. The story is being kept under wraps, but it is described as a multigenerational story in the same vein as Baumbach's recent effort, "The Squid and the Whale."
