Anna Faris joining "Mama's Boy"

The Hollywood Reporter reports that Anna Faris ("Scary Movie" franchise) will be joining Jon Heder ("Napoleon Dynamite") in "Mama's Boy" for Warner Independent Pictures. She joins Diane Keaton and Jeff Daniels, both of whom already have been cast in the movie.

The comedy tells of a slacker in his 30s who still lives with his mom (Keaton). When the mom falls for a motivational speaker (Daniels), the slacker's way of life is threatened. Faris plays Heder's love interest, a singer-songwriter.

Hank Nelken is penning the screenplay while Tim Hamilton will be directing.
