William Hurt sees "Vantage Point"

The Hollywood Reporter reports that William Hurt is in negotiations to play the U.S. president in the thriller "Vantage Point" for Sony/Columbia Pictures. Pete Travis is directing from a Barry Levy screenplay.

Dennis Quaid and Matthew Fox also star in the project about an attempted presidential assassination told from five points of view.
