Brittany Murphy is "The Ramen Girl"

Variety reports that Brittany Murphy will star in "The Ramen Girl" with Japanese actor Toshiyuki Nishida.  Robert Allan Ackerman will direct the film.

Becca Topol penned the story of an American woman (Murphy) who finds herself in Tokyo after breaking up with her boyfriend. She trains to be a ramen noodle chef under a Japanese master (Nishida).
