Will Smith lifts "Seven Pounds"

The Hollywood Reporter reports that Will Smith will star in "Seven Pounds" for Sony/Columbia Pictures. The project was penned by Grant Nieporte.

The movie tells of a man who falls in love with a woman while attempting to kill himself.

Smith will also product the film alongside his Overbrook Entertainment partner James Lassiter.
