William Hurt, Marcia Gay Harden join Penn's "Into the Wild"

The Hollywood Reporter reports that William Hurt and Marcia Gay Harden will join Sean Penn's "Into the Wild" for Paramount Vantage. They join Emile Hirsch, Vince Vaughn and Catherine Keener in this film based on Jon Krakauer's non-fiction book.

The book tells of Christopher McCandless (Hirsch), who graduated from college in 1992 and left his things to hitchhike to Alaska. He died four months later in an abandoned bus at a remote campsite.
