The Hollywood Reporter reports that Owen Wilson will star in "Drillbit Taylor" for Paramount Pictures. Steven Brill is in talks to direct the feature.

John Hughes wrote a 70-page scriptment of the story, with Chris Brown and Seth Rogen penning the screenplay. The story revolves around two high school freshmen who are targeted by the school bully on the first day of the school year. The boys hire what they think is a low-budget soldier of fortune (Owen Wilson) to protect them, but he turns out to be anything but.
