Natalie Portman, Eric Bana join "The Other Boleyn Girl"

The Hollywood Reporter reports that Natalie Portman and Eric Bana are in final talks to join Sony/Columbia Pictures' "The Other Boleyn Girl" for Justin Chadwick to direct. Peter Morgan ("The Last King of Scotland") penned the screenplay.

Based on the novel by Philippa Gregory, the movie tells of the Boleyn sisters, Mary and Anne (Portman), who are rivals for the bed and heart of 16th century King Henry VIII (Bana).

Shooting will begin late September in Europe.
