MTV (http://moviesblog.mtv.com) is reporting that Pierce Brosnan and Nicolas Cage will join Roman Polanski's "The Ghost," slated to shoot in Europe in the fall.

Based on the novel by Robert Harris, "The Ghost" tells of a ghostwriter who is hired to complete the memoirs of a former British prime minister. In doing so, however, he unlocks secrets that puts his own life in jeopardy. Brosnan would take on the role of the prime minister while Cage would play the ghostwriter.
