"Dancing with the Stars" Julianne Hough will star opposite Chace Crawford in the "Footloose" remake.

Variety reports that shooting will begin next March. No word on what role Hough will play.

Paramount will distribute the eventual film, a remake of the 1984 film starring Kevin Bacon.
