
"Old School," "Road Trip" and "The Hangover" director Todd Phillips will be moving on to two more comedies at Warner Bros: "Due Date" and yes, "The Hangover 2."
Variety reports that "Due Date" is based on a script by Alan R. Cohen and Alan Freedland and rewritten by Adam Sztykiel. "The Hangover" star Zach Galifianakis will play one of two male leads in the movie. "Due Date" tells of an expectant dad and his unlikely travel companion (Galifianakis) who race cross-country in hopes of making it home for the birth of his first child.
"Due Date" will begin shooting in October for a June 2010 release. "The Hangover 2" will begin shooting October 2010 for a Memorial Day 2011 release.
