Jennifer Aniston will star in "Goree Girls," a feature film that will tell of an all female country band in a Texas prison in the 1940s. Michael Suscy will direct the picture.
Shooting will begin in January, reports Variety.
John Lee Hancock rewrote the most recent draft of the script by Margaret Nagle, which was based on a Texas Monthly article by Skip Hollandsworth. The eight women in the band was one of the first all-girl country bands and became so popular with the public that they were eventually pardoned.
